2007 New Member Class on Bid Day 2009

"The special bond of sisterhood provides a unique connection which begins in college and lasts a lifetime.  These distinctive ties of friendship provide a network of female support in every phase of a member's life.  These friendships will enrich a sister's college experience, as well as provide exceptional connections in both personal and professional life after graduation."

Alison Kelly, Alumna (Class of 2009)

"I can honestly say that Sigma Delta Tau has helped me not only grow throughout my time in college but is now helping me start my future.  Through the help of my sisters, specifically the alumni, I have the tools, the confidence, and the courage to enter the world and pursue my dreams and career.  SDT sisterhood helped me through the ups and downs of college life and I know they will be the girls I stay in touch with as I move on after graduation."

Diana WardDiana Ward, Alumna (Class of 2008)

"It would be impossible for me to quantify in words what being an SDT has meant and means to me.  In SDT I found a family that was so diverse any personality type could feel welcome.  Everything I know about the meaning of loyalty, sisterhood, and devotion I learned from SDT.  SDT brought out the best in me, helping me to grow into a leader who was confident in herself. It was my sisters who helped me through Hurricane Katrina and our Sig Delt home that brought me back to New Orleans.  My memories with the sorority are among the best of my college years and I look forward to being a lifelong member of Sigma Delta Tau, the only sorority I could have ever joined."
